My Favorite Protein Waffles

These healthy, protein-packed waffles are so fluffy and delicious! To maximize the nutrient profile of this breakfast, top your waffles with fresh berries, bananas, dark chocolate chips, or anything else you would like!



Ingredients (yield - 2 waffles)

  • 1 1/4 cup flour

  • 1/4 cup or 1 scoop vanilla Orgain protein powder

  • 1 tbsp. baking powder

  • 2 tbsp. maple syrup

  • 1 tsp. vanilla

  • 1 1/4 cup vanilla almond milk


Directions

  1. Preheat a waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions.

  2. Mix together flour, protein powder, and baking powder. Add in maple syrup, vanilla, and almond milk. Blend until creamy or pour type batter.

  3. Pour batter into preheated waffle iron according to manufacturer directions and cook the waffles until golden and crisp, about 5 minutes. Repeat until entire batch of batter is used.

  4. Top with desired ingredients and serve!
